Photography on Location

Be allow photography onsite at no cost if you want to use the front part of the site – (in front of the gates) – anytime is fine. We just ask that you are respectful of the historic site.

If you want to come into the site (beyond the gates) for photos any time that the site is already open, it’s okay to take outdoor photos on your own – just be sure that someone knows you’re there, so they don’t leave and accidentally lock you in there!

If you want to schedule a specific time and date for a photo session and have a PPG volunteer meet you onsite to open buildings for indoor and outdoor photos with classic Packard cars, etc.. We ask for a $100 per hour donation to the foundation, just bring along a check on the date of the session made payable to ‘The Packard Motor Car Foundation’ which is a 501(c)3, so this is a charitable contribution.

During peak wedding season, there are a lot of photo requests, so if you would like to lock in your day and time, please contact us to reserve your date and time and submit your $100 nonrefundable donation.

We also offer some last-minute options for couples that were planning an outdoor photo session elsewhere, and on the day of the wedding, it’s pouring rain! There are some great indoor options in the Tank Test building onsite. For last minute requests, contact Mary Anne @ 586-739-4800 cell / text.
