Shelby Farmers Market

Established September 2010, the Shelby Farmer’s Market is an outdoor market held on the front lawn of the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site.  Half of the proceeds from the market go to the Packard Motor Car Foundation to help fund the restoration work onsite. Learn more.

We’re seeking Packard Motor Car workers of days gone by! 

We are re-creating a listing of the former employees of the Packard Motor Car Company. It’s a bit of detective work, but if you can help supply some of the clues – together we may be able to create an accurate historical record of all the men and women that worked for the Packard Motor Car Company throughout it’s history.

Macomb County is full of fascinating historical sites.  In honor of our county’s bicentennial, historical sites, throughout the county welcome you to visit and receive a passport to be stamped at each participating site you visit. Visit a minimum of seven sites within 2018; all in a month or in 12 months.

The purpose of this program is to educate our community about the rich history we have within Macomb County.

You may redeem the stamped passport at Culver’s Restaurants in Macomb County for a free meal!

Passports can be picked up from participating historical sites and at supporting local libraries within Macomb County.
